Blackjack Is Like A Roller Coaster

Blackjack is a game that brings to mind an image of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that starts off slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you build up your bank roll, you feel like you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom falls.

Blackjack is so much like a rollercoaster the similarities are unreal. As is the case with the popular fair ride, your black jack game will peak and things will appear to be going well for awhile before it bottoms out yet again. You must be a blackjack player who can adjust well to the ups and downs of the game because the game of black jack is awash with them.

If you like the tiny coaster, a coaster that will not go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the ride is with a larger wager, then jump on for the mad ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster crazy ride because he/she is not thinking about the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you don’t, you may not easily recount how much you enjoyed the view while your bank roll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a thrilling ride and your head in the clouds. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t easily recount how "high up" you went but you will always remember that disappointing drop as clear as day.
