I have enjoyed millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a type of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first five dollar bet

Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $20

Wager $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
